Diesel 2.0 / 2.2 / 2.4 / 3.2 TDCi / TDdi (Chain) Engine Setting / Locking Kit - FORD - PSA
AST5105 Timing Chain Setting / Locking Kit contains the tooling required when removing and installing the engine timing chain on all 'Puma' Duratorq diesel engines, including 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 and 3.2 TDCi and TDdi variants fitted in vehicles from 2000 onwards.
This range of engines has been fitted to a number of light commercial vehicles including Ford Transit & Transit Custom, Citroën Relay, Peugeot Boxer, Fiat Ducato as well as passenger vehicles such as Ford Mondeo, Jaguar X-Type, London Taxi and Land Rover Defender.
AST5105 covers front and rear wheel drive vehicles as well as engines with chain driven or camshaft driven fuel pumps. Also included within the kit are the oil pump setting tool, required for the correct installation of the oil pump and a flywheel locking tool, used for any application requiring the crankshaft to be locked in position.
When carrying out removal and installation of the high pressure fuel pump, the timing chain does not need to be disturbed, therefore pump replacement tooling and procedures are covered by a separate kit.
